A marketing strategy I launched for Leftovers’ email campaigns. All photographs are taken by me. It has prompted the highest sales response from any email campaign.
As soon as the email is blasted to their 3,000 subscribers, within minutes the phone begins to ring and several featured pieces are sold the same day. The swoon list showcases specific items of the consignment store's ever-changing inventory, and because viewers know it's shared with a vast audience, they act quickly on items they want.Advertising2012 -
A startup named "Holistic Fertility & Contraception" came to me asking for an identity. I gave them a warmer name: "Blue Lotus: Women's Health". I designed their logo, printed collateral, and their first print ad campaign.
It wasn't until attending one of the workshops and learning about the health risks of conventional hormonal birth control (and the self-empowering benefits of the alternative) that I understood the urgency of getting this knowledge into the hands of women.
I imagined an ad campaign that did just that- something tactile and intriguing that even the busiest woman would be tempted to pick up and read out of curiosity. The result is a round printed postcard (or drink coaster, for use in cafes) that pairs the familiar image of her "DialPak" daily pills with alarming text.Advertising, Branding, Graphic Design2012 -

Helping to make Leftovers San Francisco's favorite consignment shop. All photography by me unless otherwise noted.Art Direction, Branding, Graphic Design2012 -
Created at the business owners' request for a "huge thank you note to Obama" for the shop's windows. My task was to help write the copy and design a 5-foot poster that would make an impact even on those who don't read the text, (including traffic on San Francisco's massive Van Ness corridor) by choosing narrative symbols that instantly get the story across.
The poster has garnered attention from the SF Chronicle, facebook, and even the Small Business Association, who set out to notify Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer of the poster.Art Direction, Graphic Design, Print Design2012 -
A custom home furnishings concept with clientele in Puerto Vallarta, London, and beyond.
I was asked to create a logo that reflected the bright & chic sensibilities of the beach resort town of Puerto Vallarta, where the owner was based.
I created a logo that was clean and modern, that could be instantly adapted to wherever his business would expand to next.Advertising, Art Direction, Graphic Design2012
